DESCRIPTION:<p><u><strong>Please send submissions to sugradconference@gmail.com by January 10\, 2018.</strong></u></p>\n<p><strong>We welcome submissions in all areas of Philoso</strong><strong>phy.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>We are excited to announce that our keynote speakers are Trenton Merricks (UVA) and Kara Richardson (Syracuse).</strong></p>\n<p>Submissions should be suitable for a 25-30 minute presentation (<strong>no more than 4000 words</strong>). SU philosophy graduate students will serve as commentators on papers presented at the conference.</p>\n<p>Submissions <strong>must be prepared for blind review</strong> and sent as either a PDF or Word file. In the text of your email\, please include your name\, contact information\, and a <strong>short abstract (max 150 words)</strong>.</p>\n<p>Our friendly graduate students are happy to share their homes with the students whose papers are chosen for presentation at the conference. We will provide most meals\, and can work out transportation to and from the local bus/train station and airport.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><u><strong>We strongly encourage submissions by women and minorities.</strong></u></p>\n<p>Our aim is for the conference to be as representative of the graduate community as possible. Please feel free to get in touch with us to discuss any accessibility requirements you may have.</p>
