DESCRIPTION:<p>The Minorities and Philosophy (MAP) chapters of Columbia\, The New School\, NYU\, Princeton\, Rutgers\, and The Graduate Center\, CUNY\, are hosting NY-MAPWorks\, a spring 2018 workshop series that will feature the work of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows from groups underrepresented in academic philosophy.</p>\n<p>The Format:</p>\n<p>The series will alternate locations in New York City (see below for full list of dates and locations). Each workshop will take place from 7 to 9:30 p.m. and consist of two talks\, one by a presenter from one of the organizing institutions\, and one by a presenter from an external institution. Each presenter will have a 50-minute session consisting of a 25-30 minute talk and a 20-25 minute Q&amp\;A.
