Both perception and mental imagery are fundamental to our lives. But in what precise respects do the two have a common nature? For instance\, \;to what extent are core functional\, phenomenological and neurobiological properties of perception shared by mental imagery (and vice versa)? \;In this one-day interdisciplinary conference\, \;philosophers and psychologists will join together at Southampton to discuss these\, and other\, foundational questions about perception\, mental imagery and the various relations between them.
