DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>The University of Texas at Austin&rsquo\;s Graduate Conference</strong>&nbsp\;is an annual conference for graduate students\,&nbsp\;hosted by the graduate students in the philosophy department at the University of Texas at Austin. We&nbsp\;aim to offer a forum for philosophical papers on all topics in philosophy. We are delighted to announce that we will have two keynote speakers:&nbsp\;<strong>Stephen Stich</strong>\, Professor of Philosophy and Cognitive Science at Rutgers University\, and&nbsp\;<strong>Michaela McSweeney</strong>\, Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Boston University.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Date: Friday-Saturday\,&nbsp\;<strong>March 23-24\, 2018</strong>.</p>\n<p>We welcome high-quality paper submissions from graduate students in any area of philosophy including\, but not limited to:</p>\n<p>&bull\; Aesthetics<br>&bull\; Ethics<br>&bull\; Metaethics<br>&bull\; Philosophy of language<br>&bull\; Philosophy of mind\, psychology\, or cognitive science<br>&bull\; Philosophy of science<br>&bull\; Logic<br>&bull\; Philosophy of mathematics<br>&bull\; Epistemology<br>&bull\; Metaphysics<br>&bull\; Political philosophy<br>&bull\; Philosophy of race<br>&bull\; History of philosophy</p>\n<p>We especially encourage submissions from members of groups underrepresented in the philosophy&nbsp\;profession.</p>\n<p>Submission Deadline: Monday\,&nbsp\;<strong>January 22\, 2018.</strong></p>\n<p>All submissions must be 4000 words at most and prepared for blind review.
