DESCRIPTION:<p>In this conference we explore the personalism of Karol Wojltyla\, Max Scheler\, Jacques Maritain\, Martin Buber\, and the Boston Personalists\, setting their work in relation to ancient and medieval thought.&nbsp\; We inquire into the significant achievements of these thinkers as well as into their weaknesses.&nbsp\; &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>We are open for submissions (reading time of 25 minutes) up to March 10\, 2018.&nbsp\; Graduate students are welcome to submit\, and in fact they can compete for a $500 award for the best graduate student paper.</p>
