DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>The 2018 Undergraduate Philosophy Conference</strong></p>\n<p><em>April 14\, 2018</em></p>\n<p><em>Gainesville\, Florida</em></p>\n\n<p>The Undergraduate Philosophy Society at the University of Florida is dedicated to fostering critical investigation and discussion at the undergraduate level of a variety of topics within philosophy. We thus invite undergraduate students from any college or university to submit proposals for presentations at our fourth annual conference.</p>\n\n<p><strong>CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS</strong></p>\n\n<p>Presentations are limited to 20 minutes in length (approximately 8-10 page papers). We welcome presentations by undergraduates on any topic in philosophy or overlapping disciplines. Suitable subject areas for the conference include (but are not limited to) the following:</p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please submit your complete paper to <a href="mailto:uphilsoc@gmail.com?subject=undergraduate%2520conference%25202016"><strong>uphilsoc@gmail.com</strong></a><strong> </strong>by <strong>February 23\, 2018</strong>. What should be included in your proposal:</p>\n\n<p>A paper\, approximately 8-10 pages\, if it is a first draft this number may be lower.</p>\n<p>Your name\, college or university\, and email contact on a separate document or in the email. Please do not put this information on the same document as your paper.</p>\n<p>An indication of whether or not you require audio-visual equipment for your presentation.</p>\n\n<p>Authors of accepted papers will be notified by March 7\, 2017. Improvements can be made before the conference as you see fit.</p>
