DESCRIPTION:<p>&ldquo\;The Ethics of Conduct in Debate&rdquo\; University of Tartu Graduate Conference 2018</p>\n<p>Debate is not just an exchange of propositions. It&rsquo\;s an exchange that happens between people with different conceptions of themselves and others\, and with different levels of influence. Whether in politics\, science\, or society at large\, the effectiveness of debate is shaped by how participants conduct themselves. On October 20th 2018\, the Department of Philosophy at the University of Tartu will be hosting a graduate conference on the ethics of conduct in debate.
