\nSpecial Issue on Animal Enhancement
\nMuch philosophical discussion has been centered and devoted to the subject of human enhancement by means of technological interventions and artifacts. Many of these interventions\, technologies and systems can\, however\, be applied to similar enhancement goals to nonhuman animals\, yet little philosophical and ethical debate has considered such.
\nThe goal of this special issue is to consider the concept of &lsquo\;animal enhancement&rsquo\; as such. Papers that foster philosophical\, ethical\, theological and ecological reflection on animal enhancement &ndash\; broadly construed &ndash\; are welcome. We equally encourage reports from the field (e.g. case studies) as well as philosophical papers or legal analyses.
