DESCRIPTION:<p>THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE FOR THIS CONFERENCE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO JULY 3\, 2018</p>\n<p>The State University of New York\, University at Buffalo invites all interested parties to attend our upcoming Graduate Student conference on October 6\, 2018 in Buffalo\, NY (precise venue TBD). The topic of the conference for this year is&nbsp\;<strong>metaphysics</strong>. We are excited to welcome Achille C. Varzi (Columbia University) as our keynote speaker.</p>\n<p>The title of Dr. Varzi's keynote address is to be determined.</p>\n<p>In addition to Achille Varzi\, we will be inviting four graduate students to deliver papers on any topic in metaphysics\, with particular attention paid to papers within Dr. Varzi's area(s) of research. A Call for Papers is being distributed with more information on submission deadlines and criteria.</p>
