DESCRIPTION:<p>Lexicon Philosophicum <br> International Journal for the History of Texts and Ideas <br> Issue 1 (2012)</p>\n<p>The CNR Istituto per il Lessico Intellettuale Europeo e Storia delle \nIdee (ILIESI-CNR) launches a new online\, Open Access\, journal focussing \non intellectual history: Lexicon Philosophicum: International Journal \nfor the History of Texts and Ideas.</p>\n<p>The new journal has an interdisciplinary character and will provide open\n access to original\, unpublished high quality contributions: critical \nessays\, research articles\, short texts editions\, and critical \nbibliographic reviews on the history of philosophy\, the\n history of science\, and the history of ideas\, with a special attention \nto textual and lexical data. Lexicon Philosophicum will also have a \nspecific section devoted to digital humanities (such as digital \nscholarly editing\, corpora creation\, semantic web research).</p>\n<p><br> The journal articles will be interlinked with a large collection of \nprimary sources of Ancient and Early Modern Philosophy available in the \nportal Daphnet:\n<a target="_blank">http://www.daphnet.org/.</a> Therefore\, the first two issues of Lexicon Philosophicum will \nparticularly welcome articles directly related to texts and authors \npublished in this platform. Authors are invited to submit complete original papers\, which are not \nunder review for any other journal or conference proceedings.</p>\n<p><br> <strong>Peer Review <br></strong></p>\n<p>The 2011 and 2012 issues of Lexicon Philosophicum are part of the \nEuropean project Agora. Scholarly Open Access Research in European \nPhilosophy (2011-2013).
