DESCRIPTION:<p><em>Philosophia Scientiae </em>invites contributions for the following special topic:<br> <br> The Alan Turing Year<br> <br> Thematic issue of Philosophia Scienti&aelig\; 16/ 3 (Fall 2012)<br> <br> Guest Editors: Jack Copeland\, Didier Galmiche\, Dominique Larchey-Wendling\, Joseph Vidal-Rosset<br> <br> Submission deadline: December 1\, 2011<br> <br> Notification Date: March 1\, 2012<br> <br> To mark the centenary of the birth of Alan Turing\,  Philosophia Scienti&aelig\; publish in 2012 a selection of articles related to the work of Turing.<br> <br> The articles are reviewed if they deal with a topic in relation with at least one of the following three areas:</p>\n<ol>\n<li> History of Science: Turing's work in the history of mathematical logic</li>\n<li> Philosophy of Logic: Turing's work from a philosophical point of view</li>\n<li> Mathematical logic\, computer science: The current influence of Turing on mathematical logic.</li>\n</ol>\n<p><br> Manuscripts should be submitted in English or French\, and prepared for \nanonymous peer review.
