DESCRIPTION:
Intensities: Philosophy\, Religion and the Affirmation of Life
Edited by Steven Shakespeare and Katharine Sarah Moody

Due to the late withdrawal of a contributor\, we are seeking an additional essay for this edited collection\, which has already secured a publishing contract with Ashgate. Further details of the book may be found in the attached document. These include a current table of contents. We are looking for a piece of work that will fit into either Section One &lsquo\;Life\, Death and Natality&rsquo\; or Section Three &lsquo\;The Politics of Life&rsquo\;. The deadline for submission is November 21st 2011\, to allow selection and editing to take place before a final submission date for the volume in early 2012.

Given the tight schedule\, we will accept only complete submissions of between 6000 and 8000 words\, which must be of a quality high enough to warrant publication alongside essays by scholars such as Pamela Sue Anderson\, Philip Goodchild\, Nina Power and John Caputo. Please submit documents to shakess@hope.ac.uk and katharinesarahmoody[at]gmail.com preferably in Word format by 21/11/11.
