Philosophy and Technology invites expressions of interest to guest edit a book symposium.\n

\n

What\n books to review

\n

Philosophy and Technology reviews preferably recently published books\, \nbut also considers symposia on older books that constitute milestones in\n the area of philosophy and technology. Philosophy and Technology will have a preference \nfor philosophical books in the first instance\, and then will cover \nmonographs also in related disciplines &ndash\; say law or sociology &ndash\; but \nalways philosophical/theoretical in character.

Format

\n

Each symposium will have:

\n
    \n
  1. An introduction by the guest editor (2000 words)
    2. \n
  2. Contributions of 3 commentators (2000 words each)
    3. \n
  3. A rejoinder of the author of the book\, i.e. a Pré\;cis (2000 words each)
    4. \n
\n

The\n author of the book is not requested to write an introductory \ndescription. This can be shortly done in the guest editor&rsquo\;s \nintroduction. The author of the book will prepare a Pré\;cis having read \nthe three commentaries. The guest editor and the commentators can give \ntitles to their contributions.\n

Deadlines

\n

Philosophy and Technology is published four times a year\, in \nMarch\, June\, September\, and December. The deadline to submit the whole \nmanuscript is always and imperatively three months before the planned \npublication\, namely 1st December\, 1st March\, 1st June\, and 1st \nSeptember.
