DESCRIPTION:<p><em>Philosophy and Technology</em> invites expressions of interest to guest edit a book symposium.\n<strong><br></strong></p>\n<p><strong>What\n books to review</strong></p>\n<p><em>Philosophy and Technology</em> reviews preferably recently published books\, \nbut also considers symposia on older books that constitute milestones in\n the area of philosophy and technology. <em>Philosophy and Technology</em> will have a preference \nfor philosophical books in the first instance\, and then will cover \nmonographs also in related disciplines &ndash\; say law or sociology &ndash\; but \nalways philosophical/theoretical in character.</p>\n<p><strong> Format</strong></p>\n<p>Each symposium will have:</p>\n<ol>\n<li>An introduction by the guest editor (2000 words)</li>\n<li>Contributions of 3 commentators (2000 words each)</li>\n<li>A rejoinder of the author of the book\, i.e. a Pr&eacute\;cis (2000 words each)</li>\n</ol>\n<p>The\n author of the book is not requested to write an introductory \ndescription. This can be shortly done in the guest editor&rsquo\;s \nintroduction. The author of the book will prepare a Pr&eacute\;cis having read \nthe three commentaries. The guest editor and the commentators can give \ntitles to their contributions.\n<strong><br></strong></p>\n<p><strong>Deadlines</strong></p>\n<p><em>Philosophy and Technology</em> is published four times a year\, in \nMarch\, June\, September\, and December.
