DESCRIPTION:<p>Our school valorises the unavoidable pursuit of ontology\, foregrounding the debate on this classical philosophical question. We do not intend to endorse one particular approach to ontology\; on the contrary we have attempted to gather what we consider to be some of the most interesting philosophical perspectives of our time.</p>\n<p>The summer school in ontology was inaugurated in 2015 and hosted key figures of contemporary philosophy such as Giorgio Agamben\, Francesco Berto\, Ray Brassier\, Marc De Kesel\, F&eacute\;lix Duque\, Fran&ccedil\;ois Laruelle\, Paul Livingston\, Graham Priest\, Sergei Prozorov\, Claude Romano\, Davide Tarizzo\, and Alenka Zupančič.</p>\n<p>Marco Piasentier and Andrea Soardo</p>
