DESCRIPTION:<p>The aim of this postgraduate conference is to examine the relation between movement and aesthetics. There are a number of philosophical puzzles pertaining to movement which have been raised in relation to various art forms including dance\, music\, film\, drama\, and visual art forms &ndash\; painting\, sculpture\, photography. A question that is not restricted to these art forms concerns the possibility to have an aesthetic experience of one&rsquo\;s own movements. The concept of movement lies at the intersection between aesthetics\, metaphysics\, phenomenology\, and philosophy of mind\; as such\, this conference aims to bring together aestheticians but also students specialising in other philosophical areas.
