DESCRIPTION:<p>Deadline for submissions: <strong>1 August 2018.</strong>&nbsp\;Applications and enquiries should be sent to [<a href="mailto:virtueepistemologyglasgow@gmail.com">virtueepistemologyglasgow@gmail.com</a>]. Notification of acceptance will be received by <strong>15 August 2018.</strong></p>\n<p><br>We invite extended abstracts&nbsp\;<strong>[500-750 words]&nbsp\;</strong>on any theme in virtue epistemology\, including but not limited to: virtue relliabilism\, virtue responsibilism\, virtue-theoretic analyses of knowledge\, justification and&nbsp\;other epistemic standings\, virtue epistemology and epistemic luck\, virtue epistemology and social epistemology\, collective and extended virtue epistemology\, specific intellectual character virtues (e.g.\, open-mindedness\, humility\, intellectual courage\, etc.) and vices (intellectual arrogance\, close-mindedness\, intellectual insouciance\, etc.)\, knowledge-first virtue epistemology\, virtue epistemology and the value&nbsp\;problem\, and virtue epistemology and the situationist challenge.</p>\n<p>Speakers include:&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>John Greco</p>\n<p>Maria Lasonen-Aarnio</p>\n<p>Duncan Pritchard</p>\n<p>Lani Watson</p>\n<p>Kurt Sylvan</p>\n<p>Mona Simon</p>\n<p>Ernest Sosa (keynote speaker)</p>\n<p>(Additional speakers TBA)</p>\n<p>Thanks to generous support from the&nbsp\;<em>Analysis Trust\, w</em>e have 2 slots reserved for graduate students/very early career researchers (within 1 year after PhD). Successful graduate /very early career applicants will receive a bursary towards their travel\, and have&nbsp\;their meals and accommodation covered (up to &pound\;250 inclusive).<br><br>We particularly encourage submissions from women and members of underrepresented groups.</p>\n<p>Contact: J.
