DESCRIPTION:<p>Organized by Lone Star College CyFair and Lamar University</p>\n<p>Abstracts due: Jan 1st\, 2019.</p>\n<p>Abstracts of approximately 500-750 words should be submitted to&nbsp\;papers@twinstarconference.com&nbsp\;by Jan 1st\, 2019.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Notice of accepted abstracts will be sent by&nbsp\;December 15th\, 2018.</p>\n<p>Lone Star College-CyFair and Lamar University Beaumont are holding a conference on the Lone Star College-CyFair campus&nbsp\;The conference\, which will occur on February 16th\, will consist of a student conference\, and we encourage students to write abstracts pertaining to citizenship and duty from any appropriate perspective within philosophy or humanities. There will be a reception after the faculty portion of the conference. Distinguished philosopher Cynthia Freeland will be our Keynote speaker.
