DESCRIPTION:<p>We are now accepting abstracts for the Princeton Workshop in Social Philosophy (PWISP) to be held&nbsp\;February 9th-10th\, 2019 in Princeton\, New Jersey. The workshop is intended for early career scholars including graduate students\, non-tenured faculty\, and postdoctoral researchers. Our keynote speaker this year is Kristie Dotson.</p>\n<p>We are seeking high-quality submissions on topics in&nbsp\;<em><strong>social philosophy</strong></em>. For this workshop we construe social philosophy very broadly as including\, but by no means limited to: philosophy of race\, gender\, sex\, sexual orientation\, or disability\, applied political philosophy\, social / feminist epistemology\, social choice theory\, group agency\, collective responsibility\, social construction\, speech acts\, ideology\, philosophy of social science\, and altruism. We also encourage submissions that engage with philosophers\, philosophies\, and methods typically mis- or underrepresented in Anglo-American philosophy departments.&nbsp\;<br><br>Abstracts of not more than 1000 words should be prepared for anonymous review and submitted by&nbsp\;<strong>September 15th\, 2018&nbsp\;</strong>to&nbsp\;<em><u><strong>contactpwisp@gmail.com</strong></u></em>.
