Snow</strong>\, Director of the Institute for the Study of Human Flourishing and Professor of Philosophy at the University of Oklahoma</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Talk titled &ldquo\;Compassion\, Empathy\, and Prosocial Behavior&rdquo\;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Gustavo Carlo</strong>\,&nbsp\;Millsap Professor of Diversity at the Department&nbsp\;of Human Development and Family Science at the University of Missouri</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Talk titled &ldquo\;Prosociality in Culture: Links Between Moral Emotions and Cultural Values&rdquo\;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Michael Frazer</strong>\,&nbsp\;Lecturer in Political and Social Theory in the School of Politics\, Philosophy\, Language\, and Communication Studies at the University of East Anglia\, UK</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Talk titled &ldquo\;Challenges and Opportunities in the Interdisciplinary Study of Empathy&rdquo\;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The teleconference is organized by the following questions:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>What are the relations between empathy\, compassion\, and prosociality?&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>How important are emotions for human morality?</li>\n<li>What is the role of empathy in communication?&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>What is the role of empathy in human life?&nbsp\;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We welcome submissions related to the above questions\, as well as experienced commentators for keynote speakers (paper submission optional for commentators). Papers should be no longer than 3000 words\, and prepared for blind review.
