DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>SECOND CALL FOR PAPERS</strong></p>\n<p><strong>MINDGRAD 2018: PERCEPTION AND PERCEPTUAL KNOWLEDGE</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Warwick Graduate Conference in the Philosophy of Mind</strong></p>\n<p><strong>1st - 2nd December 2018</strong>\, University of Warwick (UK)</p>\n<p>The format of this year&rsquo\;s MindGrad will differ in two ways from previous meetings.</p>\n<p>First\, the conference will be themed under the heading "<strong>Perception and Perceptual Knowledge</strong>". Papers are invited from graduate students working on topics that fall within this area\, broadly construed\, both in Philosophy and in Psychology.</p>\n<p>Second\, there will be&nbsp\;<strong>four invited talks</strong>&nbsp\;and&nbsp\;<strong>four submitted papers</strong>.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>Keynote speakers:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>- Bill Brewer (KCL)</strong></p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp\;</strong><strong>- Alisa Mandrigin (University of Stirling)</strong></p>\n<p><strong>- Louise Richardson (University of York)</strong><strong>&nbsp\;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>- Paul Snowdon (UCL)</strong></p>\n<p><strong>*EXTENDED DEADLINE CFP*: 28th&nbsp\;September 2018</strong><strong>\, 00:00 (GMT+1)&nbsp\;</strong></p>\n<p>Submissions should be suitable for presentation in 30 to 40 minutes (max 5000 words) and must be accompanied by a short abstract (~ 500 words). Papers will be reviewed by members of the Department of Philosophy\, University of Warwick\, and accepted papers will receive a response from a faculty member.</p>\n<p>We strongly encourage submissions from women and other under-represented groups in philosophy.</p>\n<p>Papers and abstracts must be prepared for blind review and uploaded as PDF files through the following URL:</p>\n<p>https://easychair.org/cfp/mindgrad_2018</p>\n<p>We offer to cover registration costs and provide accommodation for graduate speakers.
