\nPhilosophy Born of Struggle \;asks for papers or panel proposals that addresses what it means for a philosophy to be a &ldquo\;philosophy born of struggle&rdquo\; in the twenty-first century.
\nWe welcome submissions inspired by the conference theme. We especially welcome submissions on one or more of the following topics:
\nIn the spirit of answering the call\, we welcome anyone who would like to participate in a planning session on November 3rd \;to help us chart the future of Philosophy Born of Struggle.

\nSubmission Guidelines
\nPlease submit either 1) a paper abstract of approximately 500 words\, 2) a panel abstract of approximately 500 words\, or 3) a complete paper no longer than 3000 words as a \;Microsoft Word \;document to \;PBSconference@gmail.com \;by \;August 18\, 2018.
\nEach submission should be accompanied by the following information either in a separate document or in the email&rsquo\;s body: (1) title\, (2) kind of submission (paper or panel proposal)\, (3) institutional affiliation\, (4) rank or occupation\, and (5) email addresses of presenters or panelists. Please use &ldquo\;PBOS 2018 Submission&rdquo\; as the subject of the email.
