DESCRIPTION:<p>Abstract: Some approaches to social epistemology treat the social dimension of knowledge as a (merely) &nbsp\;contingent feature of cognitive life.&nbsp\; This talk will argue that such an approach misses a deeper social dimension of our cognitive lives.&nbsp\; Critical contextual empiricism based in philosophy of science treats interaction as constitutive of human knowledge.</p>
