DESCRIPTION:<p>The graduate students of the Tulane University Philosophy Department are hosting the 1st Annual New Orleans Graduate Philosophy Conference on 5-6th April 2019.</p>\n<p>We invite graduate students to submit papers in any subfield of philosophy\, though special consideration will be given to papers that relate to the work of our keynote and to the issues he engages with.</p>\n<p>Our keynote speaker will be<strong>&nbsp\;</strong>Michael Huemer of the University of Colorado Boulder.</p>\n<p>Submissions are due by the end of Friday November 30th 2018. ***Extended to Friday December 14th***</p>\n<p>Notifications of acceptance or declination will be returned by mid-January 2019.</p>\n<p>All submissions must be less than 3\,500 words and prepared for blind review.</p>\n<p>Please include a separate title page containing (i) paper title\, (ii) abstract of 150 words\, (iii) author&rsquo\;s name\, (iv) institutional affiliation\, (v) email-address.</p>\n<p>Please submit both documents (in .pdf\, .docx\, or .doc format) to&nbsp\;<a href="mailto:neworleansphilosophical@gmail.com">neworleansphilosophical@gmail.com</a></p>\n<p>Each speaker will have 45 minutes allotted to them\, including Q&amp\;A.
