DESCRIPTION:<p>The M.A. students\, Department of Philosophy\, and University of Manitoba Minorities and Philosophy (MAP) chapter invite submissions to the 2019 University of Manitoba Student Philosophy Conference\, from March 15-16th\, 2019.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Keynote Speaker: C. Thi Nguyen\, Associate Professor of Philosophy\, Utah Valley University.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Submission information:</p>\n<p>All students\, undergraduate and graduate are eligible to submit.&nbsp\;</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Papers in Philosophy of Art (broadly construed)&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>Submissions should not exceed 2500 words</li>\n<li>Submissions from folks in under represented groups in philosophy are extremely welcome.&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>Please submit papers in standard .doc or .pdf format to <a href="mailto:Julia.Minarik@umanitoba.ca">Julia.Minarik@umanitoba.ca</a> by January 30th\, 2019.&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>We will aim to notify accepted papers by early to mid February</li>\n<li>Each presenter will have approximately 25 minutes to present their paper\, followed by a 10 minute commentary from a U of M student\, and a 15 minute Q&amp\;A from the audience.&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>Please direct all questions concerning the conference to the conference organizer Julia Minarik - <a href="mailto:Julia.Minarik@umanitoba.ca">Julia.Minarik@umanitoba.ca</a></li>\n</ul>
