DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Annual Graduate Philosophy Conference UCD/TCD</strong></p>\n<p>Title: '<em>Philosophy as a Way of Life'</em></p>\n<p>Dates: Friday\, 17th May &amp\; Saturday 18th 2019</p>\n<p><strong>University College Dublin\, Ireland</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Submission Deadline: Monday\, February 25th\, 2019</strong></p>\n<p>Details: We welcome submissions from graduate students in philosophy on topics concerning philosophy as a way of life</p>\n<p>The good life has become an important topic again\, politically\, socially\, ethically and most importantly for us philosophically.&nbsp\; Subtopics include but are not limited to: Ethics\, Existentialism\, Phenomenology\, Critical Race Theory\, Political Philosophy\, Philosophy of Religion\, Eastern Philosophy.</p>\n<p><em>Submission guidelines: </em></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Please submit papers to <a href="mailto:perspectives@ucd.ie">perspectives@ucd.ie</a>. Papers should be no more than 3\,000 words (excluding works cited and footnotes)\, and must be suitable for a 20-25 minute presentation.</li>\n<li>All submissions must be in doc.\, docx. or pdf. formats and should be prepared for blind review.</li>\n<li>Please include in your email the following details: (a) author&rsquo\;s name\; (b) paper title\; (c) word count\; (d) institutional affiliation\; (e) contact information\; and (f) an abstract of 300 to 500 words.</li>\n<li>Authors must be current graduate students in philosophy. Co-authored papers are permitted if all authors are currently graduate students.</li>\n<li>Responses to submissions will be sent no later than February 28th.</li>\n<li>Please send any questions to <a href="mailto:perspectives@ucd.ie">perspectives@ucd.ie</a>.</li>\n</ol>
