DESCRIPTION:<p>This 2-day workshop\, hosted at the University of Manchester\, aims to bring together those working at the cutting edge of philosophy of emotion.</p>\n<p><strong>Keynote speakers</strong></p>\n<p>Fabrice Teroni (University of Geneva)</p>\n<p>Julien Deonna (University of Geneva)</p>\n<p>Peter Poellner (University of Warwick)</p>\n<p>Christine Tappolet (University of Montreal)</p>\n<p>Albert Newen (Ruhr-University Bochum)</p>\n<p>Alex Grzankowski (Birkbeck)</p>\n<p><br>We invite submission of long abstracts (up to 1000 words) on relevant areas.<br>Below are some possible topics:<br> <br>Perceptualist theories<br>Attitudinal theories <br>Emotional phenomenology<br>The nature of emotional experience<br>The content of emotions<br>The intentionality of emotions<br>Emotions and bodily Awareness<br> <br>We will offer 30-minute slots followed by a 10-minute question period.&nbsp\;<br> <br>Anonymised submissions should be accompanied by a cover sheet.<br>This should be attached as a separate file including:<br>the author(s) name(s)\, email(s)\, institutional affiliation(s)\, and the title of the paper.<br> <br>We particularly welcome submissions from <u>women</u> and <u>minorities</u>.<br> <br>All abstracts should be submitted by the <u>1st April</u> to: jonathan.mitchell@manchester.ac.uk</p>
