DESCRIPTION:<p>SIPP@Brown is a two-week residential program for undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing a graduate degree in philosophy and who are members of groups that traditionally have been underrepresented groups in the field.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program features seminars run by Brown faculty\, social and educational activities run by Brown graduate students\, and a research conference featuring prominent philosophers who are themselves members of traditionally underrepresented groups. </p>\n<p>SIPP@Brown provides food and lodging for participants and reimburses up to $500 in travel costs. Participants also receive a $500 stipend.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>All applicants should be prepared to:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Answer the question: Why do you want to attend SIPP@Brown?</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>Upload a transcript (unofficial version is fine).</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>Upload a writing sample of no more than 3000 words.</p>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Applicants must also arrange to have two letters of recommendations submitted on their behalf.</p>\n<p>All application materials will be due by <strong>March 1\, 2019</strong>.
