DESCRIPTION:<p>Symposium on collective intentions and the act of voting</p>\n<p>Hosted by the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights and the Faculty of Law</p>\n<p>University of Oxford</p>\n<p>On 25 July 2019\, the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights will host a symposium on collective intention-formation and voting. Voting can be broadly defined as either voting in the political context or in other contexts\, such as a board of directors or legislative vote.</p>\n<p>Submissions are welcome from any interested parties. The aim of the symposium is to provide a supportive intellectual environment for conversation of this issue from a wide variety of angles.</p>\n<p>Important Dates:</p>\n<p>If would like to attend\, please send abstracts of no more than 500 words to collective.intentions.voting@gmail.com by <strong>31 March 2019</strong></p>\n<p><strong></strong>Successful applicants will be contacted by <strong>1 May 2019</strong></p>\n<p>Should you wish to participate in the symposium as a discussant\, or attend as a participant\, please contact the organizers by <strong>15 June 2019</strong></p>\n<p><strong></strong>Papers (which should be no more than 12 000 words\, including footnotes) will be circulated to all symposium participants by <strong>30 June 2019</strong></p>\n<p>The workshop will be held on <strong>25 July 2019</strong></p>\n<p>We will provide accommodation in Oxford for all participants.
