\nThe Workshop on Mutual Understanding will explore the notion of \;understanding others. Participants will consider \;various domains \;of mutual understanding\, such as action and speech at both the individual and collective levels. Moreover\, they will take into account \;diverse forms and tools \;of mutual understanding\, such as mind reading\, imaginative empathy\, and the capacity to adopt someone else&rsquo\;s perspective. \;
\nThe workshop aims at fostering the dialogue between\, on the one hand\, the conceptual inquiries into mutual understanding&mdash\;notably in philosophy&mdash\;and\, on the other hand\, the empirical evidence and the practical applications of such inquiries in psychology and cognitive science.
