Technology has gained an unprecedented relevance in the debates on the future of modern societies. As a subdiscipline of philosophy\, the philosophy of technology encompasses a wide variety of problems that cut across metaphysics\, epistemology\, ethics\, politics\, philosophical anthropology\, philosophy of mind\, aesthetics\, and gender studies. The Colloquium will host presentations examining contemporary philosophical problems\, and theoretical issues in the social sciences\, with the aim of opening new lines of inquiry within the discipline\, and strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration between researchers dedicated to the study of technology\, its nature and effects.
\nThe papers should be the basis for a 30-minute presentation. Presentations on the following topics are encouraged\, although we will consider any proposal within the philosophy of technology:
\n§\; Ontology\, ontogenesis and technicity
\n§\; Technology and politics.
\n§\; Techno-aesthetics
\n§\; Posthumanism and transhumanism.
\n§\; Philosophical problems of technical entities: digital objects\, cyborgs\, hybrids\, autonomous systems\, artificial intelligence\, etc.
\n§\; Ethics and politics of algorithmization.
