DESCRIPTION:<p>We are excited to announce the British Postgraduate Philosophy Association (BPPA) June 2019 Masterclass to be held at the University of St Andrews\, on the 11th and the 12th of June 2019.</p>\n<p>This intensive two-day masterclass aims to get postgraduate students to develop their understanding of a chosen theme through graduate presentations\, group work\, and talks by some of the leading experts on the topic followed by critical discussion. The Masterclass provides an ideal environment where participants can receive valuable feedback on their research from internationally renowned philosophers and exchange ideas with people working in the same area.</p>\n<p><strong>June 2019 Theme: Conceptual Engineering and Its Consequences in Society</strong></p>\n<p>Our chosen theme this year is: Conceptual Engineering and Its Consequences in Society. The masterclass will focus on the role that certain concepts\, and their use in novel ways or their manipulation\, plays/has played in shaping our societies.
