HEGEL IN FRANCE
The French Reception of Hegel 1933 to 1952
Academic Conference
Clare College\, Cambridge
We propose to treat the French reception of Hegel beginning in 1933\, when Alexandre Kojeve began his famous lecture series on the Phenomenology of Spirit\, and continuing with the publication of Jean Hyppolite&rsquo\;s Logic and Existence in 1952. This conference aims to explore the reception of Hegel within French philosophy between 1933 and 1952.
