DESCRIPTION:<p>What role should truth have in a just and democratic society? How important are claims to truth for resisting unjust social practices? Can democracies effectively handle problems related to misinformation and limited information?</p>\n<p>Truth\, Power\, and the Foundations of Democracy is an interdisciplinary project aimed at addressing these questions\, and related ones. The project is co-organized by J. Russell Muirhead (Dartmouth Government) and David Plunkett (Dartmouth Philosophy). It includes three workshops happening during the summer of 2019\, of which this workshop is the second.
