Tarver</strong></p>\n<p>Associate Professor of Philosophy</p>\n<p>Oxford College of Emory University</p>\n<p>The aim of the Building Bridges Graduate Conference is to open up a space for interdisciplinary dialogue over a particular area of research. The focus of this year&rsquo\;s conference is on the topic of <em>play</em>. The hope is that by offering this space for graduate students to engage other disciplines&rsquo\; deliberations on play\, we may better understand its various forms\, expressions\, importance\, roles\, affectivity\, complexities\, and more! On a separate document\, please include the following information: title of paper\, author&rsquo\;s name\, institutional or organizational affiliation\, and email address.</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Abstracts should not exceed 500 words</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Papers should not exceed 3000 words.&nbsp\; An abstract of no longer than 150 words should be included with the body of the paper and will not be counted towards the 3000 word limit.</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Submissions should be sent as Word (.doc or .docx) or Adobe (.pdf) attachments to Emily Humbert at <a href="mailto:humberte@siu.edu">humberte@siu.edu</a>. <em>Please indicate in your email if you are interested in chairing a panel during the conference.</em></p>\n<p>Notifications of acceptance will be sent out on or before September 27\, 2019.</p>
