DESCRIPTION:<p>The conference programme includes:&nbsp\;</p>\n<ul>\n<li>A reading of Steve Water&rsquo\;s play&nbsp\;<em>The Contingency Plan</em></li>\n<li>Guided walk around UEA Wildlife Trail</li>\n<li>Open air picnic</li>\n<li>Film screening</li>\n<li>Papers delivered via weblink and other measures to reduce our carbon footprint</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We invite submissions on any topic in environmental philosophy / ecophilosophy broadly conceived. The focus of the tenth annual meeting will be on developing ideas and concepts that are not only thematically concerned with the environment but are themselves contributions to ecological action.</p>\n\n<p>Topics might include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>methods and principles that make for specifically ecological ways of thinking and acting</li>\n<li>the relation of style to content in ecological thought and practice</li>\n<li>connections between philosophy and green politics / art practice/ science policy</li>\n<li>the significance that specific environments have for ecological thought and action</li>\n<li>the connections between ecological practices (e.g. walking\, observing\, gardening\, direct action etc.) and ecological thought</li>\n<li>theory and practice of environmental justice and our relationship with future generations</li>\n<li>ecosophy/ ecophenomenology and/or ecologism</li>\n<li>problems and opportunities facing interdisciplinary environmental studies</li>\n</ul>\n<p>There will be a reduced conference fee for all speakers.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submit 250 word abstracts for 20 minute papers by&nbsp\;<strong>31st&nbsp\;January 2013</strong>.</li>\n<li>Please&nbsp\;anonymize all abstracts (inc.
