DESCRIPTION:<p>The conference aims to bring together two different conversations in the philosophy of time: one about what time is like according to our best science\, and one about how we should think about the relationship between the nature of time and our practical lives within it. Popular science\, literature\, and ancient philosophy often make claims about purported ethical ramifications of the nature of time\, but rarely\, if ever\, do ethicists\, metaphysicians\, philosophers of physics and physicists get in the same room to think about what our best science means for how we ought to live.
