DESCRIPTION:<p>The political science graduate students at Stanford University will host a political theory conference on&nbsp\;<strong>January 24-25\, 2020</strong>in Stanford&rsquo\;s Encina Hall. &nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>We are delighted to announce that the keynote speaker will be Professor Wendy Brown (University of California\, Berkeley).&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Approximately 6-8 graduate students will be invited to present their papers in panel format to an interdisciplinary group of faculty\, post-docs\, and students. Papers from all themes and topics in political theory will be accepted\, but special emphasis will be placed on accepting papers that engage with empirical literature from any discipline (political science\, psychology\, economics\, etc.).</p>\n<p>Submissions are due via email by&nbsp\;<strong>September 15th\, 2019</strong>and acceptances will be announced in late November. Please submit an anonymized abstract of no more than 1000 words in a document with a cover page (including name\, paper title\, institutional affiliation\, and contact information) in a separate document.
