DESCRIPTION:<p>The UT Austin Philosophy Department is hosting the annual Austin Graduate Ethics and Normativity Talks (AGENT) Conference on&nbsp\;<strong>November 1 and 2</strong>. We invite graduate students to submit high quality papers for presentation in any area of philosophy related to ethics\, normativity\, and value broadly construed. This can include philosophical subfields as they relate to normativity\, such as (but not limited to) philosophy of language\, mind\, logic\, mathematics\, epistemology\, and metaphysics.&nbsp\;We especially encourage submissions from members of underrepresented groups in philosophy.&nbsp\;We are also committed to hosting an accessible conference\, and to making any accommodations necessary to facilitate the full participation of all attendees.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Our keynote speaker will be Michael Huemer (UC&ndash\;Boulder).</p>\n<p><strong>Submission Deadline: Sunday\, September 15th\, 2019.</strong>&nbsp\;[Deadline extended.]</p>\n<p>All submissions must be 4000 words or less and prepared for blind review.
