DESCRIPTION:The Political Epistemology Network will be hosting a group session at the Pacific \;APA \;in San Francisco (April 8-11\, 2020). Any paper at the intersection of political philosophy and epistemology will be considered. For example\, some possible themes include:\n\n
\n- Political disagreement
\n- The role of truth and/or knowledge in politics
\n- Epistemic Injustice \;
\n- Misinformation\, manipulation\, propaganda
\n- Trust in expertise (for political purposes)
\n- The political significance of ignorance
\n- Epistemic Evaluations of Democracy

\n\nWe especially encourage papers that engage with contemporary debates on these themes. \;\n \;\nPlease submit a 500 word abstract\, prepared for blind review\, to \;elizabeth.edenberg@georgetown.edu \;with the subject line: PEN-Pacific \;APA \;2020. \;\n \;\nSubmissions are due by September 1st. Please do not submit a duplicate of any paper you are also submitting to the main program. \;
