DESCRIPTION:<p>Prof. Whitney Davis (UC Berkeley) will be the guest of a workshop dedicated to discussing the motivations and results of his recent paper 'Binding and Unbinding the Mondrian Stimulus' (British Journal of Aesthetics 4/2018)\, which argues for 'a revised approach to the relations between invariant visual responses [to abstract visual art\, as established by neuropsychological research] on the one hand\, and different visual cultures or visuality on the other'.</p>\n<p>Attendance is free\, but please register by September 22 to receive the reading material.</p>\n
