We invite graduate students and early career scholars to submit abstracts on any topic related to the overarching theme of the conference: Kant on the Self. Topics include\, but are not limited to\, the transcendental unity of apperception\, the noumenal and empirical self\, Kant&rsquo\;s critique of the rationalist&rsquo\;s conception of the self\, the spontaneity of the will and the understanding\, Kant&rsquo\;s theory of consciousness\, self-respect\, agency and autonomy\, and the difference between animal minds and human minds.
\nThe conference will take place on May 15th-16th\, 2020\, at Princeton University. Invited speakers include: Bé\;atrice Longuenesse\, Patricia Kitcher\, Andrew Brook\, Katharina Kraus\, Kate Moran\, Colin McLear\, Yoon Choi\, Catharine Smith\, and Alix Cohen. \;
\nAbstracts should not exceed 750 words. They should be prepared for blind review and sent as a PDF file to kantontheself@gmail.com. In a separate PDF attachment\, please include your name\, academic affiliation\, email address\, and paper title.
