DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Chinese Philosophy in the Curriculum - Challenges and Prospects</strong></p>\n<p>The Queen's College\, Oxford<br>Tuesday Nov 5\, 2019 - 1pm-5pm</p>\n<p>The aim of the workshop is to enable discussion and the sharing of ideas among those who</p>\n<p>have an interest in Chinese Philosophy and its place in the University curriculum - particularly in Anglophone universities.</p>\n<p>The programme will consist of three papers with Q&amp\;A presented by people who have experience of teaching Chinese philosophy followed by a round-table discussion.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Featured speakers:</p>\n<p>Christopher Bartley (University of Liverpool)</p>\n<p>Michael Beaney (Humboldt University &amp\; King's College\, London)</p>\n<p>Lea Cantor (University of Oxford)</p>\n<p>To be joined by Dirk Meyer (University of Oxford) for the round-table.</p>\n<p><strong><br>REGISTRATION</strong></p>\n<p>The workshop is free - with everyone most welcome.<br><br>Registration by email to paul.lodge@mansfield.ox.ac.uk&nbsp\;<br>is requested in order to plan refreshments.&nbsp\;</p>
