Lewis</p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp\;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Call for Book Chapter Proposals</strong></p>\n<p>Vernon Press invites book chapter proposals to be included in a forthcoming scholarly volume on underrepresented perspectives on forgiveness\, including those that appear in books\, art\, and other forms of visual (and/or popular) media. All philosophically-based schools of thought are encouraged to submit. Other disciplines are encouraged to submit\, as long as the chapter contains a clear philosophical component. Also\, proposals dealing with corollary issues like resentment\, anger\, mercy\, and vengeance are welcome\, as long as they are appropriately related to and clearly discussed in relation to forgiveness.</p>\n\n<p><strong>Description</strong></p>\n<p>Vernon Press has commissioned Volume 5 in their <em>The Philosophy of Forgiveness</em> Series. The volume will focus on underrepresented perspectives of forgiveness\, in both academic and popular resources\, such as books\, art\, music\, movies\, and other relevant media. Chapters should clearly argue\, explain\, and/or interpret the conception of forgiveness relevant to the author&rsquo\;s research. &nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n\n<p><strong>Deadlines </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Abstracts Due</strong>: 31 October 2019</p>\n<p><strong>Notification of Acceptance</strong>: 10 November 2019</p>\n<p><strong>Finalized Draft Due</strong>: 10 May 2020</p>\n<p><strong>Finalized Paper</strong>: August 2020</p>\n\n<p><strong>Submission Details</strong></p>\n<p>Proposals should be between 300-700 words\, and should clearly describe the author&rsquo\;s thesis and provide an overview of the proposed chapter&rsquo\;s structure. All proposals should be prepared for blind review\, removing any reference to the author.
