DESCRIPTION:<p>The University of Texas at Austin&rsquo\;s Graduate Conference is an annual conference for graduate students\, hosted by the graduate students in the philosophy department at the University of Texas at Austin. We aim to offer a forum for philosophical papers on all topics in philosophy.</p>\n<p>We are delighted to announce that we will have two keynote speakers:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Grace Helton</strong>\, Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Princeton University\, and&nbsp\;</li>\n<li><strong>Rusty Jones</strong>\, Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Oklahoma.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Date: Friday-Saturday\, <strong>May 1-2\, 2020.</strong></p>\n<p>We welcome high-quality paper submissions from graduate students in any area of philosophy including\, but not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Aesthetics</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>Ethics</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>Metaethics</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>Philosophy of language</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>Philosophy of mind\, psychology\, or cognitive science</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>Philosophy of science</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>Logic</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>Philosophy of mathematics</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>Epistemology</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>Metaphysics</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>Political philosophy</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>Philosophy of race</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>History of philosophy</p>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We especially encourage submissions from members of groups underrepresented in the philosophy profession.</p>\n<p>Submission Deadline: Thursday\, January 31\, 2020.</p>\n<p>All submissions must be 4000 words at most and prepared for blind review. Please submit all documents (in .pdf\, .docx\, or .doc format) to utphilgradconference2020@gmail.com with the subject &lsquo\;UT Austin Graduate Conference submission&rsquo\;.
