DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>CALL FOR PAPERS</strong></p>\n<p>MICHIGAN PHILOSOPHICAL ASSOCIATION</p>\n<p>Spring Meeting</p>\n<p>Friday\, March 27th\, 2020</p>\n<p>Wayne State University</p>\n<p>Papers may be on any topic of philosophical interest. Please limit the length of your presentation to about 30 minutes to allow time for comments\, and please include an abstract with your submission. Graduate students are encouraged to submit a paper for consideration for the MPA Graduate Student Award.</p>\n<p>Papers submitted for the undergraduate sessions should be no more than 1\,500 words in length.</p>\n<p>Our gracious host for the spring 2020 meeting is the Department of Philosophy at Wayne State University. Sessions will be held in the beautiful and historic Maccabees Building in Midtown\, Detroit.</p>\n<p><u><strong>Schedule:</strong></u></p>\n<p>9:30 &ndash\; 10:00 AM: Registration and refreshments</p>\n<p>10:00 &ndash\; 11:00 AM: First Session</p>\n<p>11:00 AM &ndash\; 12:00 PM: Second Session</p>\n<p>12:00 &ndash\; 1:30 PM: Lunch Break</p>\n<p>1:30 PM &ndash\; 2:30 PM: Third Session (Graduate Student Award Paper)</p>\n<p>2:30 &ndash\; 3:30 PM: Fourth Session</p>\n<p>3:30 &ndash\; 5:00 PM: Undergraduate Sessions</p>\n<p>5:00 &ndash\; 5:30 PM: Business Meeting</p>\n<p><u><strong>Deadline for submission</strong></u><strong> </strong>is January 31st\, 2020.
