\nSubmissions are welcome on any aspect of Modern philosophy\, roughly understood as the period from Montaigne through Mill.
\nPapers on British philosophy after Hume are particularly encouraged.
\nSubmissions treating the Cambridge Platonists or the relationship of Hume to Kant will be given special consideration for plenary panels.
\nKeynote presentation: "Metaphysics and Early Modern Misogyny" by \;Julie Walsh \;(Wellesley College)
\nPanel on Mary Shepherd by \;Antonia LoLordo \;(University of Virginia)\, \;David Landy \;(San Francisco State University)\, and \;Louise Daoust \;(Eckerd College)

\nPlease submit anonymized\, 300-500 word abstracts prepared for blind review through \;Easychair (https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=tempo2020#).
\nPapers should ultimately be suitable for a 25 minute presentation\, followed by 30 minutes of Q&\;A.
