An international conference on the topic "Understanding Progress and Progress in Understanding" will be held at the University of Iceland on June 19th and June 20th\, 2020. \;
\nConfirmed invited speakers include Catherine Elgin (Harvard)\, Henk De Regt (Radboud) and Michael Strevens (NYU).
\nThe conference is hosted by the project &lsquo\;Understanding Progress\, in Science and Beyond&rsquo\;\, which is a three-year project based at the University of Iceland\, generously funded by the \;Icelandic Research Fund (Ranní\;s). The deadline for submission is \;February 1st\, 2020. We aim to send notifications of acceptance by February 22nd\, 2020.
Funding: We will seek to reimburse travel and accomodation costs up to a maximum of 600 EUR for at least two junior scholars whose abstracts are accepted for presentation.
