DESCRIPTION:<p>Applications are now open for the 3rd Annual Graduate Conference at the Centre for Ethics\, Philosophy\, and Public Affairs (CEPPA) at the University of St Andrews. Submissions should broadly fit the theme of at least one of CEPPA&rsquo\;s current research projects:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Effective Altruism</li>\n<li>&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Exoplanet Ethics</li>\n<li>&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Knowledge\, Democracy\, and Public Discourse</li>\n<li>&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Virtue and Character</li>\n<li>&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Human Rights</li>\n<li>&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Blame and Responsibility</li>\n<li>&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Philosophy and Education</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We are delighted to host <strong>Cecile Fabre</strong> (Oxford)\, <strong>Fabienne Peter</strong> (Warwick) and <strong>William B&uuml\;llow</strong> (Stockholm Centre for the Ethics of War and Peace) as our keynote speakers.<br><br>If you wish to apply\, please submit a paper of no more than 4000 words along with a short abstract of no more than 200 words in PDF form to <strong>ceppa2020@st-andrews.ac.uk</strong> by February 15th\, 2020. Papers should be suitable for a presentation of approximately 30 minutes. Submissions should be prepared for blind review.&nbsp\; We especially encourage submissions from members of underrepresented groups in philosophy.<br><br>All accepted papers will receive comments from faculty and postgraduate students from the St Andrews and Stirling Graduate Program in Philosophy (SASP) during the conference.
