DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Conference Topics</strong></p>\n<p>The Conference will feature sessions on all the research areas in neuroethics. As neuroethicshas always been an interdisciplinary field\, the conference aims at promotinga debate among different scholars and different research areas.</p>\n<p>We\, therefore\,invite contributions on the following topics:</p>\n<p>1. Moral cognition</p>\n<p>2. Neurolaw</p>\n<p>3. Neuroeconomy\, neuropolitics\, and neuromarketing</p>\n<p>4. Free will and consciousness</p>\n<p>5. Issues arising from clinical and non-clinical applications of technological innovationsand Artificial Intelligence</p>\n<p>6. Philosophy of cognitive science</p>\n<p>7. Neuroenhancement</p>\n<p>8. Cerebral organoids\, and neuroprostheses</p>\n<p>9. Neuroprivacy and cognitive liberty</p>\n<p>Contributions can be experimental\, theoretical\, analytical\, or critical works.</p>\n<p><strong>Submission Guidelines and Attendance</strong>Participants can only send one contribution as first authors\, but they can appear as second authors of other contributions.Abstracts must be submitted through EasyChair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=sineins-2020).</p>\n<p>Any request of information should be sent to convegno@societadineuroetica.it. Abstracts must be ready for double blind review and should not exceed 300 words\, plus 10 reference records (that will not be consideredin the word count). Authors should indicate in their submission the topic(only one) for which they intend to contribute.</p>\n<p><strong>Abstracts can be either in English or in Italian\, according to the language chosen for the presentation. However\, since the audience is international\, we warmly encourage submissions in English.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp\;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Best Paper Prize</strong></p>\n<p>This year\, SINe will grant two prizes: one for the best paper in philosophy and one for the best paper in neuroscience. The authors willing to participate in the competition for best paper shouldselect &ldquo\;SINe Best Paper Prize &ndash\;Philosophy&rdquo\; or &ldquo\;SINe Best Paper Prize&ndash\;Neuroscience&rdquo\;. They willalso have to upload a longer version of the abstract (up to 1000 words\, references excluded) in the &ldquo\;paper&rdquo\; section. The lack ofeither the selection of the category or of the long abstract will constitute an excluding condition. The Prize will consist in a bursary of500eurosfor each winner and the selection will be made based onthe quality of the long abstract.</p>\n<p><strong>Deadlines and Reviewing Process</strong></p>\n<p>The deadline for abstract submission is February 17th\, 2020. Notification of acceptance will be given by March 15th\, 2020.</p>
