DESCRIPTION:<p>The Braga Meetings on Ethics and Political Philosophy have established a reputation for providing scholars with an excellent opportunity to present both advanced and exploratory work to a welcoming audience. Graduate students\, junior researchers and senior scholars are welcome to submit their work.</p>\n<p>This event is organized by the CENTRE FOR ETHICS\, POLITICS AND SOCIETY (CEPS)\, University of Minho (Braga).</p>\n<p>Proposals are now welcome.</p>\n<p>This year the Braga Meetings will have as a general topic the &ldquo\;Contemporary Challenges to Citizenship and Democracy&rdquo\; but\, as always\, we welcome proposals in any area of moral\, political\, or legal philosophy and in normative political theory.</p>\n<p>This year we will have a roundtable on the general topic with the participation\, among others\, of the keynote speakers.</p>\n<p><strong>Keynote speakers</strong> this year will be:</p>\n<p>Professor <strong>Richard Bellamy</strong> (University College London\, UK)</p>\n<p>Professor <strong>Caterina Botti</strong> &nbsp\;(Sapienza University\, Italy)</p>\n<p>Professor <strong>Viriato Soromenho Marques</strong> (Universidade de Lisboa\, Portugal)</p>
